On Saturday 2nd April the Museums opens for our 2022 season and this year our very own Ty Burton will be walking the key to the front door wearing full standard dress which weighs approx. 86kg (190lb).
He will start his walk from GAFIRS on the Stoke Bay coast and walk the mile-long promenade to No. 2 Battery where we will open the Museum at 11am.
Do come along to support him, and when you get to the museum you may be able to try on some of the diving equipment yourself (as long as it is safe for you to do so, of course).
