For the first time, Clearance Divers have taken part in the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph in London. It was an historic event in recognition of the extraordinary work of the Royal Navy’s Clearance Diving Branch all of whom deserve our respect and gratitiude.
Many of our friends and two of our museum volunteers took part in that parade: John Dadd and James ‘Tommo’ Thompson who met up with ‘Tug’ Wilson for a celebratory drink afterwards. Needless to say, we are very proud of them.
