September is the month of Gosport’s Heritage Open Days programme. The Diving Museum will be participating in the Heritage Open Days Programme and entry to the museum will be free on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th September. (We will, of course, be open as usual on the weekends with our usual extremely good-value entry prices!)

As a special treat, the Provincial Bus Society will be providing free rides on Saturday 9th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September.  So if you can’t make our free open days you can still enjoy a free bus ride around Gosport on a vintage bus that will be stopping right outside the Diving Museum at 11.10am, 12.40am (returning at 3.19pm). The bus will depart from Coach Bay 3 at the Gosport Station (near the Gosport ferry) at 11am and again at 12.30pm and will do a round trip taking in The Diving Museum, Fort Brockhurst and Explosion!

The Provincial Society buses are run by volunteers who tell us that their buses can be temperamental at times so the timetable may be subject to change.

Whatever day, whatever the weather, you can be sure of a warm welcome to the museum.
We look forward to seeing you!
