Our parent organisation, The Historical Diving Society, is holding its 31st Annual Conference at the UK head office of world-renowned offshore engineering contractor Subsea­­­7 in Sutton UK on Saturday 19th November 2022.
The conference is open to anyone who may have an interest in the subject or diving history in general.

Talks include:
Liz James, (the UK’s first qualified female professional diver) – The history of Subsea7.
Patrick van Hoeserlande, – the development of buoyancy devices.
Bjørn Kahrs, ­– historic diving in his native Norway.
Gavin Anthony, ­­– scientific diving research and world records made at the Royal Navy Physiological Laboratory, Alverstoke
and
Nigel Phillips, the Collections Officer at The Diving Museum will give a brief review of the some of the many ‘gems’ in the Museum collection.
