As you may know, the Co-op has a scheme which enables Co-op card holders to support local charities. Last year, the Diving Museum was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the nominated charities. For those customers who chose to support us, a percentage of the value of their purchases was donated to us.
On Saturday 28th November we were invited to the Co-op in Gosport to accept a cheque. Three of our volunteers were able to attend: Martyn Bellamy, Kevin Casey and Hazel Casey. To our amazement and delight, we were presented with a cheque to the value of £2,304.89! This was far more than we dreamed of.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Co-op for selecting us as one of their chosen charities and also all the Co-op customers who chose to support the Diving Museum. We were honoured to be part of the scheme and grateful to everyone who supported us.
