Visitor Experience Volunteer

Visitor Experience Volunteers are responsible for visitor support in the  Diving Museum. They provide a warm and friendly welcome to visitors during opening hours, answer questions from visitors, deal with enquiries and, where necessary, direct them to the appropriate member of staff. Visitor Experience Volunteers engage with and supervise all visitors in the Diving Museum and support colleagues.

Collections Volunteer

Collections Volunteers support the museum team to care for the collection both in the museum and in the store.

Facilities and Maintenance Volunteer

Facilities and Maintenance Volunteers are responsible for the upkeep of the outside areas of the museum buildings and small maintenance jobs as required. They are part of the team who work together to undertake tasks relating to the upkeep of the buildings and grounds.

Learning activities volunteer

The Learning Activities Volunteer will support the museum team to deliver a range of learning activities offered to visitors of all ages. The volunteer will create an excellent visitor experience by interacting with family visitors and engaging children and families in informal workshops and sessions.
